Senior Account Manager – SMS Wholesale (A2P)

About the role

The Senior Account Manager – SMS Wholesale (A2P) will join Rutatel Technologies in Beirut to lead and expand the company’s portfolio of wholesale SMS and A2P messaging partners. Working on‑site, you will be responsible for building long‑term relationships with operators, aggregators and large enterprises, driving revenue growth and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale SMS and A2P messaging partners.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts with operators and aggregators.
• Monitor traffic, performance and margins, providing regular account reports and forecasts.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to increase revenue.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to resolve issues and optimise routing.
• Participate in industry discussions and contribute to business development strategies.

Required profile

• Proven account management experience in B2B or wholesale environments.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with global partners.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wholesale SMS, A2P messaging and telecom carrier ecosystems.
• Analytical ability to interpret traffic, margin and performance data.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
