Head of Wholesale – Business Development

About the role

CEQUENS is a global CPaaS provider seeking a senior leader to drive wholesale business growth. The Head of Wholesale will hunt new international accounts, manage profitability, and represent the company at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Win new wholesale business and add a target number of new accounts each quarter.
• Support acquisition of global tier‑1 and tier‑2 enterprises and manage end‑to‑end buying and selling processes.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to increase market share.
• Lead, mentor and develop the technical and professional skills of the account management team.
• Represent CEQUENS at industry conferences, ensuring measurable ROI.
• Oversee invoice collection, set KPIs for traders and ensure financial targets are met.

Required profile

• University degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in CPaaS or telecom wholesale with a proven track record of winning large accounts.
• Strong account management experience with mega‑clients such as TikTok, Microsoft or Google.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets in a high‑pressure environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently for business needs.

• Strong account management and negotiation skills for multiple large accounts.
• Understanding of pricing strategies and financial management within the trading sector.
• Effective leadership, conflict resolution and team coaching abilities.
