Sales Supervisor – Food Products (West Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Supervisor to lead the distribution of our food and cosmetics products across West Africa. You will be responsible for building a robust retailer network, achieving sales targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through proactive field work.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target, and acquire new retailers, pharmacies, beauty shops, salons, spas, and wholesalers.
• Develop and expand the distribution network in line with the company’s sales strategy.
• Conduct regular field visits to generate leads, present products, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
• Provide product demonstrations and training to retailers or beauty advisors.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and report insights to the sales manager.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc sales reports and track performance against targets.
• Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries and follow up on payments and credit limits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of outdoor sales experience in FMCG.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of local market and distribution channels.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
