Road Construction Project Engineer – Congo Brazzaville

About the role

The Road Construction Project Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of road infrastructure projects in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and on‑site teams to ensure projects meet technical, quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for road construction works.
• Oversee pavement, drainage and related infrastructure construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities of site teams, subcontractors and consultants, resolving technical issues promptly.
• Implement quality control procedures and monitor HSE standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts and documentation for client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience in road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods, pavement works, drainage and infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, quality control and HSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
