About the role

The State of New Hampshire Liquor Commission is seeking a Retail Store Manager I to oversee daily operations of a low‑volume liquor outlet in West Lebanon. This full‑time position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and driving store profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel up to Retail Salesperson III level.
• Open and close the store, manage cash deposits, and conduct inventory counts.
• Set up merchandising displays and ensure accurate product placement.
• Provide routine training and guidance to all store employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to build a loyal customer base.
• Maintain compliance with New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules and policies.

Required profile

• Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after high school.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb continuously and handle cases up to 60 lb.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Preferred: one year of experience in a public‑contact, retail, or cash‑handling role.
