Remote Arabic‑French Medical Interpreter (Arabic↔English & French)

About the role

INTELEX is looking for a skilled medical interpreter who can fluently switch between Arabic, English and French. This 100% remote position supports patients and healthcare providers by delivering accurate, culturally appropriate interpretation in real‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for medical consultations, telehealth sessions, and legal‑medical interactions.
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance while handling sensitive patient information.
• Use proper medical terminology and ensure clear communication between all parties.
• Be available for on‑the‑spot (OPI) or video remote interpreting (VRI) as well as scheduled appointments.

Required profile

• 6 months to 3 years of professional interpretation experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in medical (or legal) interpreting.
• Strong listening, note‑taking and memory retention abilities.
• Flexible schedule to cover 24/7 shifts, full‑time or part‑time.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic, English and French.
• HIPAA‑compliant home setup.
• Wired USB headset with noise‑cancellation.
• Internet connection of at least 10 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download.
