Health Program Coordinator – National Position

About the role

The Health Program Coordinator oversees the planning, implementation, and quality assurance of health activities across primary and secondary care services, community health, mental health, and emergency response in Lebanon. Reporting to the Program Manager, the role ensures compliance with Ministry of Public Health protocols and donor requirements while supporting health facilities and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise project staff, set priorities, and ensure timely achievement of objectives.
• Oversee implementation of primary and secondary health services, MNCH, reproductive health, communicable and non‑communicable disease programs, mental health, community health, and emergency response.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams, PHCCs, hospitals, and PSUs, ensuring integration of protection, gender, disability inclusion, and accountability principles.
• Manage quality assurance systems, conduct supervisory visits, technical assessments, and audits to strengthen service delivery.
• Monitor health information, verify data, and prepare regular technical reports in coordination with the MEAL team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, represent the organization in health sector meetings, and support community health activities through volunteers.
• Supervise health staff, conduct performance reviews, and promote capacity building while ensuring compliance with safeguarding and code of conduct policies.
