Project Associate – Public Health Field Coordination (G-5)

About the role

The Project Associate will support the Public Health Unit in Lebanon by carrying out operational and administrative tasks that ensure effective field implementation and monitoring of public health projects. Working under the Head of Programmes and the National Project Officer, the role contributes to timely delivery of interventions in line with IOM regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support field implementation, monitoring and reporting of public health projects, ensuring compliance with IOM rules.
• Coordinate communication with field teams, community‑based workers, partners and stakeholders.
• Collect, verify and compile programme data from field activities and assist in preparing reports and documentation.
• Liaise with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and other relevant partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, health sciences or related field with at least three years relevant experience (or high school diploma with five years experience).
• Proven experience supporting field implementation, monitoring and reporting of public health‑related projects.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees or other vulnerable groups in a humanitarian context.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Good knowledge of field‑level public health project implementation, monitoring and reporting.
