Partnerships and Grants Coordinator

About the role

The Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM USA) is seeking a Regional Partnerships and Grants Coordinator to strengthen and coordinate its partnerships in Lebanon and support partnership and grants‑related work across the MENA region. The role focuses on building strong relationships with local partners, donors and coordination actors while ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day focal point for local and institutional partners in Lebanon, maintaining regular communication and supporting onboarding.
• Maintain an updated mapping of partners and stakeholders, identify new partnership opportunities and support due‑diligence processes.
• Facilitate coordination between partners and internal Programme, MEAL, Finance and Operations teams, organising regular coordination meetings.
• Support the preparation and follow‑up of partnership agreements, MoUs and related documentation.
• Maintain grant and partnership trackers, assist with donor and partner reporting, and contribute to concept notes and proposals.
• Represent UOSSM USA in coordination meetings, working groups and stakeholder forums in Lebanon and the wider MENA region.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Humanitarian Affairs, Health Management, Public Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in partnerships, programme coordination or grants support within humanitarian or development settings.
• Demonstrated experience working with local partners, international NGOs, UN agencies or donor‑funded programmes.
• Knowledge of the health and humanitarian context in Lebanon and familiarity with the MENA region is an asset.
• Fluency in Arabic and English required; French is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
