Production Coordinator - Furniture, Joinery, Fitout, Millwork

About the role

TIE Recruitment is hiring a Production Coordinator in Beirut for furniture, joinery, fitout and millwork. It is a coordination and reporting role, not a technical authority role: decisions on technique, materials, supplier selection and workshop sequencing remain with the Design Team and Production Manager. The coordinator handles design packages, tracks production and supports the Production Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Design package control: pull approved drawings and specs, verify the current revision, and hand the package to the Production Manager
• Custom pieces and variation orders: receive the design package, check it against the checklist, confirm written approvals, and return incomplete packages with a written list of what is missing
• All orders: log the package with date, revision, project or client reference and target completion date, remove old drawings when designs change and inform costing and sales teams of any cost or delivery impact
• Maintain the drawing archive so the current approved revision is always retrievable
• Own the production task list, update status daily from a walk of the workshop, photograph work in progress and escalate at-risk pieces to the GM and sales team
• Attend the weekly production meeting and report on every active project
• Support the Production Manager by taking notes of supplier and subcontractor discussions, writing emails such as purchase requests and order confirmations, and following up with subcontracted workshops

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in production coordination, project coordination or workshop administration, preferably in furniture, joinery, millwork or interior fit-out
• Direct exposure to a workshop floor; not a desk-only role
• Able to read shop drawings and identify what is missing, ambiguous or contradictory
• Persistent and organised, respectful but firm when a package is not complete
• Comfortable working with a highly experienced, non-digital Production Manager
• Genuine interest in craft, materials and making, and respect for the Nada Debs brand and its handmade heritage

Required skills

• Reading AutoCAD shop drawings
• Strong Excel, including building and maintaining trackers without supervision
• Very good command of English and Arabic
