Quality Control Officer

About the role

A Quality Control Officer position based in Zekrit, Lebanon, supports production operations and ensures food safety and product quality. The role covers inspections, compliance checks, training of production staff and record keeping, and acts as Production Supervisor when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Verify label accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
• Conduct pre-production inspections and monitor production activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, CCP and OPRP requirements.
• Prevent allergen cross-contamination through proper production coordination.
• Train and communicate food safety requirements to production personnel.
• Identify, report and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Perform routine quality inspections and maintain accurate production records.
• Support production operations and act as Production Supervisor when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Quality Assurance or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, CCP and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Food safety knowledge (GMP, GHP, HACCP, CCP, OPRP).
