About the role
The Lebanese American University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied Economics to contribute to the President Intramural Research Fund project “Linking SDG Pillars in Lebanon.” The role focuses on advanced econometric analysis of Sustainable Development Goal interlinkages.
Key responsibilities
- Benchmark Lebanon’s SDG interlinkages against selected regional and international economies using wavelet‑quantile modelling.
- Interpret econometric results and translate findings into policy briefs and academic publications.
Required profile
- PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Finance or a closely related field.
- Strong background in quantitative economic research and applied economics.
Required skills
- Wavelet‑quantile econometric methods.
- Advanced econometric analysis and statistical modelling.
