Accounts Payable Senior Analyst

About the role

KPMG Middle East is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Senior Analyst to join its Finance team. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, timely payment processing and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Process bookkeeping activities, post and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare and review weekly vendor and subcontractor payments, monthly accruals, prepaid and rent expense entries.
• Maintain and reconcile AP sub‑ledgers, investigate discrepancies and support internal/external audits.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and contribute to ad‑hoc financial analysis and management reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations or similar accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
