About the role

Pharmacist responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring safety and effectiveness of drug therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, verify prescriptions for authenticity and appropriateness.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, interactions and lifestyle advice.
• Conduct medication therapy management, review regimens for safety and efficacy, collaborate with healthcare providers.
• Maintain inventory, order stock, monitor expiration dates and ensure proper disposal.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.
• Administer vaccines and perform health screenings such as blood pressure and cholesterol.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active pharmacist license in the practicing state/province.
• In‑depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions and treatment protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Customer service skills to assist patients and healthcare providers.
