About the role
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Lebanon seeks a qualified consultancy firm or registered NGO to conduct a participatory gender analysis of recent labour market assessments across Lebanon, Syria, and neighbouring countries. The assignment involves a desk review, key informant interviews, workshops, and a final report with actionable recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive desk review of existing labour market assessments.
- Conduct at least six key informant interviews in the target regions.
- Facilitate a minimum of two participatory workshops in Lebanon and Syria.
- Prepare a final report outlining gender‑responsive labour market interventions.
Required profile
- Lead researcher with at least 7 years of gender analysis experience.
- Firm or NGO with a minimum of 5 years relevant consultancy experience.
- Authorization to operate in Lebanon, Syria, and neighbouring countries.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Required skills
- Gender analysis methodology.
- Qualitative research techniques (interviews, workshops).
- Report writing and recommendation formulation.
