Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Trans‑Pro Logistics is seeking a motivated Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist to join its international team. Working remotely from Lebanon, you will manage end‑to‑end ocean and air freight shipments for clients across North America, Latin America and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily import and export shipments, including FCL, LCL and air freight, from booking to final delivery.
• Book cargo with carriers, steamship lines, airlines and overseas agents, and track shipments to provide timely updates.
• Prepare, validate and manage shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Origin.
• Work with customs brokers and agents to ensure compliance with customs regulations and Incoterms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, delivering clear communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Review freight invoices, identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, including delays and documentation problems, and collaborate with global teams to resolve them.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in freight forwarding operations, preferably with both ocean and air import/export exposure.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, end‑to‑end import/export processes and customs requirements.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
