Logistics Officer – Accounting Background Preferred

About the role

Wood & Gas is looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Logistics Officer who also understands accounting principles. The role supports installation, service, logistics and field operations across Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor deliveries, installations and customer pickups.
• Track inventory movements between warehouses, vehicles and job sites.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, delivery notes and shipment records.
• Collaborate with warehouse, operations, sales and customer‑service teams.
• Follow up on purchase orders, supplier deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Reconcile delivery records with invoices and inventory transactions.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock‑control processes.
• Support the accounting team with logistics‑related documentation and reporting.
• Monitor fleet utilisation, fuel records and vehicle‑related expenses.
• Ensure accurate data entry and record keeping within ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, inventory control or accounting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and accounting processes.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
