About the role
The Laundry Supervisor oversees daily laundry operations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities
- Manage collection, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens and garments.
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and maintain equipment.
- Maintain inventory of detergents and supplies and coordinate with other departments.
- Train team members, resolve operational issues, and report on productivity and maintenance needs.
Required profile
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in laundry services.
- Practical knowledge of washing techniques, fabric care, and equipment use.
- Effective communication for coordination and feedback.
- Familiarity with handling linens, sorting, quality inspection, and storage.
Required skills
- Team leadership and task delegation.
- Performance monitoring and record‑keeping.
- Understanding of health and safety standards.
