Laboratory Technician – Hearing Aid Manufacturing & Repair

About the role

Join Houri Hearing’s production lab as a Laboratory Technician. You will work hands‑on with hearing‑aid devices, from micro‑component repair to custom earmould fabrication, using precision tools, microscopes and 3D‑printing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, micro‑solder and replace components, microphones, receivers and shells on returned hearing aids.
• Perform functional testing, listening checks and test‑box measurements, documenting all actions.
• Produce custom earmoulds from audiologist impressions and scan files, modelling in 3D software and managing the full 3D‑printing workflow.
• Maintain and calibrate 3D printers, manage resin handling, cleaning, curing and post‑processing.
• Keep lab equipment, tools and consumables organized, track inventory and record quality logs.

Required profile

• Technical degree or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, biomedical engineering technology or a related field.
• Practical experience soldering, assembling or repairing electronic devices.
• Excellent manual dexterity, patience for precision work and a methodical approach.
• Comfort with computers and the ability to learn new CAD/3D‑modelling software quickly.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is a plus, not mandatory.
