Junior Trade Mark Paralegal

About the role

CWB is looking for a motivated Junior Trade Mark Paralegal to support its growing Trade Mark team. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to ensure smooth progress of trademark applications and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of trademark applications and update clients on acceptance, publication, registration, renewal and recordal stages.
• Report upcoming expiry dates of registrations and obtain renewal instructions.
• Maintain accurate records in the IP management software (IPMS) and cross‑check client requests against official trademark office documents.
• Update clients’ online systems with the latest trademark status.
• Assist in managing intellectual property portfolios, preparing translations, correspondence and reports for clients, agents and government authorities.
• Support IP audits and gather corporate and product information as needed.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by the team.

Required profile

• A tertiary degree (mandatory).
• 1‑2 years of experience, preferably in intellectual property or a professional services environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with the ability to translate between the two; French is a plus.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs; experience with IP databases is advantageous.
