About the role
The Junior Operations Officer – Trade Finance supports the full trading cycle, from purchase to sale, handling import and export letters of credit, cash‑against‑documents, shipping documentation, logistics, inventory control, and coordination with banks, suppliers and clients. The role reports directly to management and provides operational support across the trade finance function.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end trading operations from purchase to sales
- Process import and export letters of credit
- Handle cash‑against‑documents transactions
- Prepare and review shipping documents
- Coordinate logistics and supply‑chain activities
- Control inventory and stock levels
- Follow up with banks, suppliers and clients
- Report operational status to management
Required profile
- Junior‑level experience in trade finance operations
- Ability to liaise with banks, suppliers and clients
