Junior Operations Officer - Trade Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Operations Officer to support our trade finance team. The role involves managing the end‑to‑end trading process, from purchase through to sale, ensuring all documentation and financial transactions are handled accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full trading operation from purchase to sales.
• Prepare and manage import and export letters of credit.
• Process cash‑against‑documents transactions.
• Coordinate shipping documents and oversee logistics and supply‑chain activities.
• Control inventory and stock levels.
• Follow up with banks, suppliers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Report operational status to management.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a strong interest in trade finance.
• Ability to work with banks, suppliers and clients in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of letters of credit, cash‑against‑documents, and shipping documentation processes.
• Understanding of logistics, supply‑chain, and inventory control.
