Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join Saiid Kobeisy S.A.L. and support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records. The role offers hands‑on experience with daily accounting tasks and exposure to month‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor petty‑cash transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare customer invoices and receipts and assist with collection processes.
• Perform account reconciliations for banks, customers, vendors and general‑ledger balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Record journal entries and accounting adjustments, supporting month‑end closing activities.
• Assist senior accountants in monthly and yearly financial close, preparing accurate reports.
• Respond to accounting‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized financial documentation, including scanning, filing and archiving.
• Collaborate with the finance team on projects and initiatives to broaden accounting expertise.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for problem‑solving.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Solid educational background in Accounting or Finance.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting systems; Business Central experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
