HR Generalist

About the role

VAS Global Services is seeking an HR Generalist to support day‑to‑day human resources operations at its visa application centre in Beirut. The role will act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding, payroll inputs and compliance with Lebanese labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers on daily HR matters and implement company policies.
• Coordinate recruitment activities with the Talent Acquisition team, manage interview scheduling and support the hiring process from requisition to offer.
• Maintain accurate employee files, contracts and HRIS data; prepare and verify payroll inputs, attendance and leave records.
• Support employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary procedures and performance appraisals under guidance of the Country HR Head.
• Track mandatory training, monitor headcount, attrition and absenteeism, and report staffing requirements to centre management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR generalist or administration roles.
• Working knowledge of Lebanese labour law and local employment requirements.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems.
• Experience with payroll coordination, attendance and leave administration.
