Health Officer – Emergency Response (Beirut)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Health Officer to support emergency health response activities in Beirut. You will work closely with partners, conduct field visits, and ensure health interventions align with IRC standards and Ministry of Public Health protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and follow‑up of emergency health activities in targeted areas.
• Conduct regular field visits to primary health care centers, shelters, and community sites.
• Monitor activities, track indicators, and compile partner reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, referrals, and data collection.
• Coordinate with PHCCs, local partners, municipalities, and IRC departments (Health, Protection, Supply Chain, MEAL).
• Participate in meetings and field coordination activities as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in health program implementation, preferably in emergency or humanitarian settings.
• Experience working with health actors, NGOs, or government health ministries.
