Head of Project Management – Lebanon

About the role

The Head of Project Management will establish a bank‑wide Project Management Office (PMO) for QNB, defining methodology, overseeing the project portfolio and driving strategy assignments across the organisation. The role reports to senior leadership and works closely with the International Banking Division in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a QNB‑wide project management methodology and PMO structure.
• Set up, monitor and manage the overall project portfolio in consultation with the International Banking Division.
• Track project progress to ensure delivery within defined time, budget and scope, using allocated resources.
• Prepare continuous management information reports for Executive Management and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for the project portfolio and financial plans for strategy assignments.
• Support the CEO in identifying and analysing issues affecting profitability, growth and productivity.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments to ensure successful project execution.
• Validate new project requests, present proposals to Executive Management and obtain approval.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in project management and strategy implementation.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen to develop KPIs and monitor financial plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing executive leadership.
