Head of Power Department – Beirut, Lebanon

About the role

We are seeking a visionary leader to head the Power Department of ICC Group at our Beirut headquarters. The role oversees the full technical, engineering and commercial direction of our power portfolio across multiple countries, driving solar, hybrid, conventional generation, substations and distribution networks.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the complete EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power plants, substations and HV/MV/LV networks, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
• Lead technical negotiations with OEMs, international partners and clients, providing recommendations on generation technologies and plant configurations.
• Own pricing, estimation and bid strategy for power tenders, building BOQs, cost models and assessing OEM quotations to protect margins.
• Negotiate joint‑venture and consortium arrangements, evaluating partner capabilities and defining roles and responsibilities.
• Manage and develop a team of roughly 20 electrical and power engineers, allocating resources across simultaneous multi‑country projects and monitoring progress, budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in power‑sector EPC projects, both conventional and renewable.
• Proven commercial acumen with a track record of successful tendering and cost estimation.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of representing the company at senior levels.
