About the role

Arcenciel is seeking a Grants Acquisition Senior Officer to strengthen its fundraising strategy. The role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, developing high‑quality proposals, and securing sustainable financial resources that align with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and monitor funding opportunities that match Arcenciel’s activities and strategic goals.
• Analyze donor calls for proposals, assess fit, feasibility, and competitiveness.
• Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities, deadlines, and required documentation.
• Develop and write compelling grant proposals and budgets.
• Build and nurture relationships with international and local donors and funding partners.
• Contribute to the long‑term fundraising strategy and ensure alignment with organizational needs.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in grant acquisition, fundraising, or development within NGOs or similar organizations.
• Strong understanding of donor landscapes and funding cycles.
• Excellent written communication and proposal development skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
