Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (1 Year Contract)

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Lead in Cairo, driving the company’s quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, variance analysis and special projects. This 1‑year contract role combines financial reporting, modeling and strategic support for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long‑range plans in collaboration with the Country Manager and Commercial team.
• Prepare standard reporting packages and monthly analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast.
• Monitor key performance indicators, highlight trends and investigate unexpected variances.
• Manage selling & promotional expenditures, validate promo spend and adjust full‑year targets as needed.
• Design and improve complex financial models and conduct product profitability analyses.
• Produce dashboard reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
• Support due‑diligence efforts, pricing evaluations and changes to distributor terms.
• Track SG&A spend, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Contribute to in‑market inventory management and forecast evaluation.
