Finance & Operations Manager – Manufacturing (Abidjan)

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the company’s financial and supply‑chain functions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring that production, innovation and financial processes are efficient, cost‑effective and aligned with strategic goals and food‑industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across production, finance, R&D and supply‑chain teams, developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial reports; analyse data to identify trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Direct procurement, inventory control, logistics and vendor management; negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with food‑safety and quality standards.
• Ensure all processes meet local and international food‑safety regulations (HACCP, ISO, GMP) and support internal and external audits.
• Lead, train and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and operations management within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, supply‑chain processes and R&D operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of food‑safety regulations and production standards.
• Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills.
