Finance & Operations Manager – Manufacturing (Abidjan)

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the financial and supply‑chain functions of a manufacturing company in the food sector, ensuring that production, innovation and financial processes are efficient, cost‑effective and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across production, finance, R&D and supply‑chain teams, implementing strategies and policies that drive productivity and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial reports; analyse data to identify trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Direct procurement, inventory control, logistics and vendor management; negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards.
• Ensure all processes meet HACCP, ISO and GMP regulations; support internal and external audits.
• Lead, mentor and develop department managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, supply‑chain processes and R&D operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of food‑safety regulations and production standards.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
