Field Officer - Bekaa Area

About the role

Fair Trade Lebanon is seeking a Field Officer for the Bekaa Area to implement project activities directly in the field. Working under the Senior Field Officer and Area Coordinator, the role ensures training sessions, beneficiary engagement, data collection and event support are delivered efficiently and align with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and plan interventions with beneficiaries such as farmers, cooperatives and individuals, maintaining clear communication.
• Support trainers by preparing logistics, materials and venue readiness for training sessions.
• Prepare, manage and store training documentation including attendance sheets, tests and evaluations.
• Conduct baseline assessments and MEAL data collection, ensuring data accuracy and reporting any issues.
• Assist in organising project events, workshops, field days and meetings, handling logistics and beneficiary mobilisation.
• Carry out follow‑up visits and calls after trainings to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Support field‑level procurement logistics, distribute items and track stock.
• Submit weekly field updates and activity reports, providing quantitative and qualitative data for project reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Agriculture Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum three years’ experience in field operations or development‑related work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with data collection processes and documentation.
