Technology Officer

About the role

The Technology Officer will provide hands‑on technical guidance to early‑stage energy startups participating in the Energy Innovation Lab incubation program. Working in a hybrid setting, you will mentor founders, coordinate testing, and ensure technical readiness for acceleration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one technical mentorship on product architecture, prototyping, system integration, data collection, debugging and MVP iteration.
• Participate in product‑focused sprints, review deliverables, and give structured feedback to assess startup progress.
• Assist startups in planning and executing testing procedures, documenting results and interpreting data to improve MVPs.
• Support evaluation of startups for incubation and acceleration phases and prepare technical components for Demo Day presentations.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical product development or clean energy systems.
• At least 5 years of experience mentoring or advising startups on prototyping, MVP development or testing.
• Prior involvement in Lebanon’s entrepreneurship or clean‑energy ecosystem is preferred.
