Executive Director - Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Healthcare Executive Director to lead the overall operations, performance, and growth of a reputable healthcare institution in Lebanon. The role demands proven expertise in hospital administration, clinical excellence, and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee all hospital operations (clinical and non‑clinical)
• Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and performance targets
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese Ministry of Public Health regulations and international healthcare standards
• Lead and support department heads to ensure high‑quality patient care and service delivery
• Monitor financial performance, optimize costs, and drive revenue growth initiatives
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, stakeholders, and partners
• Oversee quality assurance, patient safety, and risk management systems
• Drive accreditation and certification initiatives (e.g., JCI, ISO, or local accreditation)
• Implement process improvements and digital transformation initiatives where applicable
• Manage crisis situations and ensure business continuity planning

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medicine, or related field
• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in hospital or healthcare management
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as Hospital Director, GM, or COO
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese healthcare regulations and systems
• Demonstrated ability in financial management, budgeting, and operational optimization
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
