Entry-Level Project Engineer – Engineering Projects

About the role

We are looking for an entry-level Project Engineer to support the technical coordination of local and international engineering projects at D8 Metals. The role bridges the design office, production, procurement and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical documents, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Coordinate between design office, production, procurement and site engineers.
• Track project schedules, monitor progress and assist in reporting.
• Follow up on material approvals, supplier coordination and procurement processes.
• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, contract requirements and quality standards.
• Support the Project Manager in client communication and documentation control.
• Identify technical or coordination issues and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic; French a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit – optional).
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and construction processes.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles.
