Custodial Services Coordinator (Beirut Campus)

About the role

The Hospitality Services Office is seeking a Custodial Services Coordinator for its Beirut campus. Reporting to the Custodial Services Supervisor, you will oversee daily custodial operations to ensure clean, safe, and well‑maintained university facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work schedules for custodial staff across all campus areas.
• Support scheduling for routine cleaning, special projects, and campus events, including set‑ups and breakdowns.
• Manage laundry services for residence halls, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, distribute items, and track usage.
• Monitor equipment condition, report maintenance needs, and ensure proper use.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in training new custodial employees on procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Oversee deep‑cleaning projects, emergency cleaning requests, and key/asset accountability.
• Prepare basic operational reports and maintain accurate records of assignments, inspections, and supplies.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate II Diploma or Technical Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Brevet with at least 8 years.
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning methods, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
