Country Finance Manager – Lebanon

About the role

WeWorld is seeking a Country Finance Manager to lead financial operations for its Lebanon mission. Based in Beirut, you will support multi‑million‑dollar humanitarian programmes, ensuring sound financial management, compliance, and reporting across all grants and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative and accounting processes, including financial reporting, budget planning, and monitoring.
• Track and manage deliverables and timelines related to grants, contracts, vendors, and partners.
• Monitor grant administration to ensure compliance with donor reporting and expenditure requirements.
• Supervise the filing and compliance of all administrative documents.
• Lead and develop the Finance Department team, providing guidance on financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular financial statements to the Country Representative and Regional Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the humanitarian or NGO sector.
• Proven experience managing large, multi‑year grants from donors such as ECHO, EU, AICS, and AFD.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, donor compliance, and reporting standards.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and coordinate with field offices.
