Country Director - Lebanon

About the role

Relief International is seeking a dynamic Country Director to lead its Lebanon mission. Reporting to the Desk Director, you will oversee a $5 million budget, manage the senior management team and program staff, and represent the organization with donors, government authorities, UN agencies and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a strategic vision for the Lebanon mission, aligning with global priorities.
• Lead fundraising efforts, cultivate new donor relationships and secure resources for program scale‑up.
• Ensure high‑quality implementation of health, nutrition, education and livelihoods programmes.
• Oversee risk, access and security management, maintaining compliance with organisational policies.
• Represent Relief International in inter‑agency coordination groups, media engagements and government negotiations.
• Manage the $5 million budget, financial reporting and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong track record in resource mobilization and donor engagement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed operational oversight.
