Content Creator – Video Production & Editing

About the role

Beirut Arab University is looking for a dynamic Content Creator to produce engaging multimedia content, with a strong focus on video, for its various communication channels. The role involves storytelling from concept to final polished video, ensuring content resonates with the university’s target audience.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, script, storyboard and plan video projects for social media, website and campaigns.
• Capture or direct footage and produce diverse video formats such as short clips, explainers, interviews and promotional videos.
• Perform end‑to‑end video editing, including cutting, transitions, color grading, sound design, motion graphics and visual effects.
• Optimize videos for each platform by creating compelling titles, captions, thumbnails and applying platform‑specific best practices.
• Monitor performance metrics to refine future content strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in video production and editing.
• Accessible portfolio showcasing promotional videos, social media clips, explainers, interviews or short documentaries.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Motion graphics creation and visual effects.
• Color grading and sound design.
• Storyboarding and scripting for video content.
