Chef de Partie

About the role

L'Apogée Beyrouth is a restaurant in Beirut offering a refined dining experience rooted in high-quality ingredients, culinary craftsmanship and attentive service. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Chef de Partie to manage and oversee an assigned kitchen section, ensuring the quality, consistency and timely execution of all dishes.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and supervise mise en place, and prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain proper portion control and ensure excellent presentation.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen team members, supporting and guiding Commis Chefs.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure food safety, hygiene and kitchen organization standards are met throughout service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position in a professional restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to independently manage an assigned kitchen section and coordinate its daily operations.
• Ability to lead, support and coordinate junior kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Strong culinary skills and advanced knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, proper storage and ingredient handling.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen, and a professional, reliable and disciplined approach.
