Barista - Specialty Coffee

About the role

Latte Art is a specialty coffee concept that started as a small kiosk in 2003 and now operates a network of locations across Lebanon, including Beirut and several highway drive-thru sites. It uses premium coffee beans to craft signature drinks and offers dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru and delivery, along with fresh pastries and snacks. This is a full-time, on-site Barista position in Beirut.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and other beverages according to Latte Art's recipes and standards, including espresso-based drinks and signature creations.
• Greet customers, take orders and operate coffee machines.
• Handle food preparation for pastries and snacks.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised.
• Manage the cash register and process payments accurately.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Work with the team to keep a welcoming atmosphere and support efficient service during busy periods.

Required profile

• Strong customer-facing skills, including customer service, interpersonal skills and communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work calmly in a fast-paced environment during peak times.
• Attention to detail in drink preparation, food handling and cleanliness.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by store operations.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
