Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations

About the role

The Alumni Relations Office seeks an Assistant Vice President to lead and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy across Beirut and Byblos campuses. Reporting to the Vice President for Communication & Alumni Relations, this senior position strengthens lifelong connections between alumni and the university.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term alumni and stakeholder engagement strategy that drives belonging, mentorship, philanthropy, and advocacy.
• Create, monitor, and report on strategic and operating plans, KPIs, and board updates.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to assess alumni needs, segment audiences, and shape data‑driven initiatives.
• Oversee the Connections program, ensuring alumni participation in events, classroom speaking, and career support.
• Design and manage the Volunteering Program, including chapters, committees, and mentoring structures.
• Collaborate with university units to align alumni activities with institutional priorities and advancement goals.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in alumni relations, advancement, or higher‑education engagement.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in research, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage regional or international chapters.
