About the role
The Education Technical Coordinator provides day‑to‑day technical, quality and coordination support to partner organisations delivering NRC’s education and youth programmes in Lebanon. The role ensures activities align with NRC guidance, donor requirements and national frameworks while promoting safe, inclusive programming.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical and coordination support to partners implementing education and youth activities, ensuring use of NRC tools, guidelines and minimum standards.
- Facilitate trainings, refreshers and coaching for partner staff on facilitation methods, inclusive practices and safeguarding.
- Conduct regular partner monitoring visits, review documentation and give structured feedback for quality improvement.
- Support partners in planning, data collection (Excel, Kobo, MS Dynamics) and timely reporting, coordinating closely with M&E.
- Represent NRC in MEHE/Education sector coordination meetings and liaise with internal NRC teams.
Required profile
- University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Youth Development or related field.
- 3‑4 years of experience in education, youth programming, project coordination or training, preferably supporting NGOs or community organisations.
- Strong understanding of Lebanon’s education system and youth landscape.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Required skills
- Data collection and basic analysis using Excel, Kobo, MS Dynamics.
- PowerBi for reporting and dashboards.
