Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking an ambitious Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team. You will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to support the company’s cash flow and financial reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to guarantee accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications.
• Generate aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities related to receivables.
• Review and validate new customer account applications and supporting documents.
• Perform credit checks and assess customer creditworthiness.
• Set up new customer accounts in the system and define appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Maintain and update customer master data to ensure completeness and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounts receivable.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
