Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for managing client payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the sales and delivery teams to ensure timely cash collection. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update schedules of due bills and follow up on client accounts.
• Contact clients with overdue invoices by phone and manage payment negotiations.
• Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to collect outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive cash collections, verify amounts, and ensure no discrepancies.
• Maintain and update each client’s account, collection history, and aging reports.
• Enter receipts into the accounting software and update client statements daily.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records, including registration licenses and banking details.
• Generate regular balance confirmation records and apply interest to aged balances.
• Participate in the company’s Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Result‑oriented, organized, and effective communication abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
