Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join the dynamic accounting team at CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, develop key financial skills and grow within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF and tax declarations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and data handling.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP software.
