Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop core accounting competencies, and contribute to the company’s financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Assist in timely billing, reconcile monthly accounts, and ensure balance‑sheet accuracy.
• Manage daily transfers to the city ledger, update the accounts‑receivable system, and verify invoice arithmetic.
• Process invoices and statements, record payments for goods and services, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Oversee petty‑cash handling, travel expense reports, and related reconciliations.
• Verify tax documentation, maintain tax file numbers and other tax records, and ensure compliance.
• Maintain internal controls over all accounting transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with NSSF contributions and tax declarations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
