About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage daily accounting operations in accordance with internal policies, local regulations, and Lebanese tax law. The role involves maintaining accurate ledger records, processing transactions, and supporting audit activities.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and process journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT declarations and other tax filings.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with knowledge of Lebanese taxation law.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
