Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Beirut

About the role

Fakhry General Contracting SAL is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its finance team in Beirut. The role is full‑time and on‑site, offering the chance to develop within a reputable construction group.

Key responsibilities

• Enter general journal data and maintain balance‑sheet schedules.
• Perform daily cash counts and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing VAT, income‑tax, payroll and CNSS reports.
• Provide supporting documents to external auditors.
• Process accounts payable, purchase orders and supplier payments via bank transfers or checks.
• Record customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Support the Accounting Manager in monthly financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, etc.).
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure proper purchase documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal and fiscal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
