Accountant – Financial Operations (Beirut)

About the role

The Accountant will oversee daily financial operations for Brand Aid’s Beirut office, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and timely processing of transactions. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the finance team in delivering reliable financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, reconcile bank and ledger accounts.
• Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle payments.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve financial queries and improve processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Experience in marketing, advertising or events is beneficial but not mandatory.
